April Showers Bring...

April Showers Bring May Flowers and with the Flowers comes the Songbirds.

Join us for an evening of Flowers and Songbirds. "First Thursday", April 1st (no fool'in) Gallery 601 will feature the artwork of Paul Landry and local Watercolor artist Bill Gehring.

With the warm weather approaching nothing says "Spring" like the sight and smells of emerging flowers waking up from their Winter naps. Songbirds are singing a happy little tune telling us "Spring" is here, smile and enjoy.

Paul Landry is known for his beautiful landscape, seascape and floral creations. Growing up in Nova Scotia, many of Paul's images reflect his Grandmother's garden on the coast. With those memories firmly planted in his mind and being quite the gardener himself, Paul has incorporated his childhood memories, love of flowers, landscapes and seascapes into a wonderful "New England" style of art that is a feast for the eyes.

Local Watercolor Artist Bill Gehring is not new to the art scene, but certainly is new to the gallery. This will be Bill's second showing of Original Watercolors here at the gallery. This collection of Songbirds is a perfect way to welcome the "Spring". Bill will also have a few new florals for this show adding to his already impressive body of work.
